Academic Session Structure
Duration: The academic year runs from July to June.
Program Formats:
B.Ed. Program: Follows a semester system consisting of two semesters per year.
D.El.Ed. Program: Adheres to the annual or semester structure in accordance with SCERT guidelines.
Key Academic Milestones
Admissions and Commencement
Admission Process: Conducted between June and July.
Orientation Program: Held during the first week of July to welcome new students.
Class Commencement: Regular instruction begins in the second week of July.
Teaching and Examination Schedule
Mid-Semester Break: Scheduled for the second week of October.
Winter Break: Observed during the last week of December.
Resumption: Classes restart in the first week of January.
Internal Assessments: Tests are held in November and March.
Final Examinations: University and Board exams take place from April to May.
Results: Official declaration of results is scheduled for June.
